Mindfulness is the intentional practice of being present and in the moment with compassion and kindness. Sessions with IV always include mindfulness practices and discussions on how participants can integrate these practices into their everyday lives.
Below are some of the many benefits of mindfulness:

* Build mental and emotional capacity to meet oneself with honesty and compassion

Her passion lies in helping others find peace and inner power through mindful living.
She has shared mindfulness practices with organizations such as the NAACP, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), Universities, elder care
communities, and many others.
IV earned a master’s degree in education and held positions in prestigious organizations, yet still found herself grappling with deep emotional and physical pain rooted in her early experiences growing up in the projects of Brooklyn, NY. It wasn’t until she began exploring
mindfulness, sound healing, and other self-healing practices that she found true transformation. These tools not only supported her own healing but inspired her to help others do the same.
Since then, she has earned certifications in mindfulness and sound healing, and is on a mission to create safe, accessible spaces for people to explore themselves more deeply and ignite their own journeys of healing and self-love.
IV serves as a teacher at the Charlotte Center for Mindfulness, leads meditation experiences at Salt & Souls (a wellness spa, located at Plaza Midwood, Charlotte), and is the founder of "I Am A Vessel", an organization dedicated to bringing mindfulness and other healing practices to communities.
