Pops on the River - Happy Birthday America!

The fourth of July is my absolute favorite holiday. I love it! It is in my favorite season, summer and there are fireworks which I love so much.

Let's gather for hours of fun at Coolidge. Last year we were in the sun and we baked. This year I will be posted up somewhere with shade. The day of, I will post photos of where we are, so be sure to look at the photos on the day of to find us. The Chattanooga Lookouts are providing shuttles. The parking lot at UNUM will be open, and shuttles will run from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Important things to find each other in a crowd of thousands. I will get there early! If someone can throw out ideas on how to locate one another. Perhaps Helium balloons hanging from my chair. If anyone else can grab some also and get there early we will post more specifics about where we are posted up.

I will be bringing my lawn blanket and two chairs. If you can bring your lawn blankets and chairs too, great! Bring your coolers for your own drinks and snacks.

AND EVERYONE SHOULD BE DRESSED FOR JULY 4TH (t-shirts, hats, sunglasses etc.). Let's be festive!

There will be food trucks here. We will try to get close enough to hear the music but far enough that we can still chat. How much space we reserve will be based on number of RSVP's. Come by yourself or your entire family. Come at any time but please be aware that the park gets super crowded and we may not be able to save space if you are too late.
