Sunday Superman and Pizza (Or Calzone, those are nice too, I like Calzones)

A Too Hot to Hike Summer Series Event!

I am trying to do this at a time to give my Church going friends a chance to their thing and still have time to do something fun.

So here's the thing. I wear both glasses and contacts. Do you know how useful it would be to just take off my glasses and become an unrecognizable Superhero? Okay maybe not the Superhero part, but at least a different identity. Would have made life easier a few times. Long stories.

On second thought it might be problematic too. "Who are you? How'd you get in here?"

Clark Kent was lying on his death bed with his wife Lois beside him. After some time, Lois said “Darling, I have to confess something. Years ago, I had an affair with Superman. It was only one night, but I’ve regretted it ever since. I hope you can forgive me.”

“You don’t need to worry about that because,” Clark said as he took off his glasses, “I am Superman! Even if you didn’t know it was me, in my eyes you were always faithful.”

“Oh thank God!” said Lois. “ I can’t tell you what a weight that is off my chest.”

“Glad we cleared that up,” said Clark.

“So I guess this means you were Batman too.”

Clark if you found any cobwebs around the house you can either question her dusting or Peter Parker. Hear me out here, Batman had 20/20. No glasses. I'm just saying...

I am betting she's not forgetting to dust.

Sorry Clark, but Spiderman sounds like a playa too.

An alternate theory is that superman wore Hypno glasses. The movie we're going to see uses this theory.

Hypo glasses... Wonder where I could get a pair? Use them for good of course.

I finally found the best power. The glasses. I am going to talk to Costco. I bought TWO pairs of glasses from them. Do you think a single one conceals my identity or hypnotizes anyone? No! I was clearly not told hypo glasses were an option. The Sandra/Lois thing, Clark, you haven't figured this out?

So from some other planet he gets this funky high on yellow sun (Bonus points for the song and artist) and he has Hypno Glasses. Maybe it's a Lenscrafters not a Costco Feature. I'll check. Need a pair of those. I promise I will mostly behave. Mostly.

Anyways I was looking for something to do this Sunday and chose dinner and a movie. It's like a date night with out the date. You get to go to Dinner and movie and it's not complicated. Plus He/She has to buy their own pizza and movie ticket.

I enjoy their pizza. Something on the menu for everyone. Not the absolute best in Chattanooga, but pretty good quality and it is literally right across the street from the theater. They have Calzones too. I love those Cheesy, doughy, colon clogging pockets of goodness. The DGX bodega down the street probably has Raisin Bran with Fiber so its fixable.

So I am starting to put this at the end of my Sunday Funday posts. This is just in case anyone is interested.

If you want to meet me before all of this and go there you can. Message me if you want. I park behind the church and go in the back. You go up the stairs. You can walk in with me there or if you are in the sanctuary looking at the stage I will be in the middle section to the right at the back. You can sit with me. I may or may not be wearing my Hypno Glasses depending if Lenscrafters has them.

I'll run home and change before all of the movie stuff. I have a bathroom and it's inside this time so if anyone wants to come change there they can. If I have enough time I will probably go grab a Bloody Mary at State of Confusion before pizza. Or any other place along the way. I just kind of roll with it. Got me this far in life.
