Exact date and times TBC but heres another event for us to look forward to in 2026!
Hey guys I’ve decided to change the walk to Bakewell to Hassop or Thornbridge.
For people travelling by bus we’ll get 10:10am no. 218 which takes an hour and we’ll get off at Rutland square in Bakewell.
For those travelling by car there’s a car is to (but I’m unsure how long you can park there for) however I think there’s another car park where you can park for longer.
We’ll met in Bakewell (TBC) then walk up Castle Hill it’s called and then we are on the flat terrain on the monsal trail to either stop off at Hassop Station cafe or if we want to walk further it’s an extra mile to Quackers cafe.
The walk from Rutland square to Hassop station cafe is 1.6mile so both ways is just over 3miles, or if we walk a bit further to Quackers cafe and back to Bakewell it’s 5.6miles - we can decide on the day.
