Chilled Out Walks are social events for serious hikers and weekend strollers alike, providing casually paced walks through Leeds most beautiful spots whilst making new connections and increasing fitness. We usually meet near Leeds Rail Station for easy access from Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire area then do a walk ending back in the city centre or at a pub/cafe with public transport options back into Leeds.

13:00 is the time we will set off so please aim to arrive for 12:45 or earlier. If you are running late, let Kris know before 13:00 and we can hold the group back a few minutes. Due to members no showing in the past, if we don't see or hear from you by 13:00 we will assume you won't be attending.
Let's take a change from the canal and do a walk in the north east area of Leeds. We'll meet in City Square as normal and walk to a couple of beautiful sports I've found over the years. First, we'll check out Potternewton Park. Then we'll go to our feature destination, Gledhow Valley Woods, a green space with a lake which has received a lot of investment over recent years and is something you should check out in the city.
We'll finish up at Oakwood Clock where there are frequent busses back into Leeds (even on a bank holiday), bars or for the bravest walkers there are further routes to take in on in the adjacent Roundhay Park.
This is weather dependent and, given that bank holidays are notoriously difficult to predict demand for, RSVP dependent. Needs be, this may be pushed back until the following weekend.
