Christchurch Speakers practices all kinds of public speaking. We provide a place for your to deliver prepared speeches, work presentations, impromptu speeches, readings, educational workshops, power point, pecha kucha style and more. Practice helps you find your voice, your style, your confidence and become a competent speaker. We cater for novice to professional.
Feedback enables you to recognise and acknowledge your strengths and identify opportunities for improvement. Each audience member provides written feedback on what they enjoyed, what you could work on and any challenges that would help you or you speech be even better next time. Feedback is collated and distributed the next day.
Confidence comes from success. Success comes from practice, feedback and practicing some more. Many of our members started with a fear of speaking and a desire to do something about it. We provide a platform to speak, encouragement to try, and feedback to get better and better. Plus all our members have felt the butterflies in the tummy and know how to get them to fly in formation.
