About us
Above all, CDS is people; people in community. Although, for some, it is not practical to spend time physically together, we are still a group of Christian singles in friendship, caring and praying for each other. We welcome new members to our group, but to prevent abuses of this app, new members will have to be approved before posting pictures or comments. You may notice from any of the pictures that we are a more senior singles group (50+).
Christ The King Lutheran in Peachtree Corners, GA is the sponsor of CDS.

"SHROVE TUESDAY” or “FAT TUESDAY” PANCAKE SUPPER
Christ the King Lutheran Church (ELCA), 5575 Peachtree Pkwy, Peachtree Corners, GA, USTuesday, February 17th 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., “SHROVE TUESDAY” or “FAT TUESDAY” PANCAKE SUPPER at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5575 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners, Georgia 30092.
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and the day before has traditionally been known as “Shrove Tuesday” or “Fat Tuesday”. Mardi Gras is French for “Fat Tuesday” — meaning it’s the last opportunity to eat rich food before the fast of Lent begins. To honor this age-old tradition, come to Christ the King, and enjoy a pancake supper in the fellowship hall. Great fun with competing pancake chefs. Supper is free but a free will offering accepted. Event is a fund raiser prepared and presented by the Youth of Christ the King.
