What we’re about
This group is for anyone who needs some extra support with their own personal healing journey, self care and self compassion.
All with a desire to increase their sense inner peace and joy and self-acceptance are welcome here. Anyone navigating the delicate balance in their physical, mental/emotional or spiritual health-whether it be with overall sense of being stuck, pain, underlying illness, anxiety, past trauma or depression is encouraged to join.
Our focus will be on accessible wholistic practices in mindfulness, guided meditation, stress relief, chair yoga stretches, and breath work, to bring a greater sense of balance to our overall being.
Through expanding our relationship with self we seek to shift into a sense of inner strength and support balance of body mind and spirit. In our interactive meetings we hold space for group healing, motivation for self-care, and personal transformation.
This group is conceived by and will be facilitated by me, Cristina Ortiz Certified Yoga Teacher, and Sponsored by the Westchester Independent Living Center.
