We put together this sacred circle in 2009. Since, we have had at least two rituals per month. Celebrating the Esbats {dark & full moons} and all Sabbats!. At the Circle of Sublime Elms, some have practiced all of their life and others began practicing here. The members are all-embracing with many abilities & attributes; offering vast enthusiasm & passion to share each others paths. We go all-out to encourage participation and encourage each to prepare and promote their paths with a different theme for most every circle. Some examples are at Yule we incorporated Hanukah, January’s Wolf Moon the Tri-fold Goddess, Imbolc/Dark Moon with Native American influences, February’s full moon for Celtic Ogham tree alphabet & Goddess Diana. The March dark moon with a Draconian theme and at the March full moon focused on the Egyptian paths. This makes our circle unique for inviting all to share their wonderful gifts and pagan paths. We also offer seating for the curious who are somewhat hesitant, timid, or inexperienced to enter the Magikal circle of ritual magic!
Our main purpose is to become close friends and to do open circles. The plan is to assist each other in practicing and learning the Craft. To fulfill love, honor, and respect not only for The God and Goddess; but to Love each other and all, including GAIA ~ Our Mother Earth. \
A circle is a safe, sacred space that we create. It is "between" the worlds, the magickal and the mundane worlds. It marks a "place that is not a place, in a time that is not a time". What we mean by this is that it is sort of a nexus, a place that can touch and reach all other places and people in time and space. by Lady Bridget, © 1999

** The New Age is in fact a free-flowing spiritual movement; a network of believers and practitioners who share somewhat similar beliefs and practices, which they add on to whichever formal religion that they follow. \
\
New World Order As the Age of Aquarius unfolds. This will be a utopia in which there is world government, and end to wars, disease, hunger, pollution, and poverty. Gender, racial, religious and other forms of discrimination will cease. People's allegiance to their tribe or nation will be replaced by a concern for the entire world and its people. \
Channeling is a method similar to that used by Spiritualists in which a spirit of a long dead individual is conjured up. However, while Spiritualists generally believe that one's soul remains relatively unchanged after death, most channelers believe that the soul evolves to higher planes of existence. Channelers usually try to make contact with a single, spiritually evolved being. That being's consciousness is channeled through the medium and relays guidance and information to the group, through the use of the medium's voice. \
\
Crystals are materials which have their molecules arranged in a specific, highly ordered internal pattern. This pattern is reflected in the crystal's external structure which typically has symmetrical planar surfaces. Many common substances, from salt to sugar, from diamonds to quartz form crystals. Crystals possess healing energy. \
Meditating is a process of blanking out the mind and releasing oneself from conscious thinking. This is often aided by repetitive chanting of a mantra, or focusing on an object.
\
Divination The use of various techniques to foretell the future, including I Ching, Pendulum movements, Runes, Scrying, Tarot Cards. \
\
Astrology The belief that the orientation of the planets at the time of one's birth, and the location of that birth predicts the individual's future and personality. Holistic Health This is a collection of healing techniques which have diverged from the traditional medical model. It attempts to cure disorders in mind, body and spirit and to promote wholeness and balance in the individual. Examples are acupuncture, crystal healing, homeopathy, iridology, massage, various meditation methods, polarity therapy, psychic healing, therapeutic touch, reflexology, etc. \

The turning point in this Lughnasadh season of the harvest, the autumn equinox is again a time when the day and night are of equal length. Occurring at some point between 20 – 23 September, it is known commonly by the Welsh/Brythonic Alban Elfed, pronouncedelved, meaning ‘light of autumn’. Celebrating the end of the grain harvest, it is the festival of Harvest Home. The wheel turns and the embers glow,
The circle brings itself to a close.
Harvest comes in and fruits abound,
Pagans come from all around.
To look within, and without,
Embracing all, no room for doubt.
Now is the time to thank them all,
At last my kin, it is finally Fall!Hunger is a problem every day in our community, and it's a tradition on Mabon / Autumn Equinox for giving to the poor. Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate.
Mabon / Autumn Equinox is a time to appreciate and give thanks to the Goddess for her bounty and to share in the joys of the harvest. Fall fruits, squash, gourds, pumpkins, grains, nut breads, vegetables. A magickal Mabon / Autumn Equinox beverage: hot apple cider.
Apple rules the heart, cider alone is a self-love potion. By spicing it with cinnamon, ruled by Jupiter and the Sun, we are in essence, ingesting the sunlight.
PARKING is directly across the street from the house. There is a small u-shaped street [Fern Circle}, parking is alongside both sides of the street staying at least 4 feet from driveways. Please be conscious that others will need to use the street as well. So, park accordingly! ALSO, BE AWARE that there needs to be room left for EMERGENCY VEHICLES to pass through. Also, you may park on Davis Drive or the west side of Hampton {between Livingston & Robinson}.

SHINTO TSUKIMI (FULL MOON GAZING) CELEBRATION!
Sunday, October 5th - Gathering: 7 - Celebration: 7:30 - By Joe
Hajimemashite! (Greetings, Nice to meet you!) Please join us at the Circle of the Sublime Elms as we transform our circle into a Shinto jinja (shrine) on the evening of the October full moon to celebrate the coming of the Fall season by holding our Tsukimi (or otsukimi) translated as "moon gazing".
Moon gazing and enjoying the aesthetics of the outdoors is very popular in Japan around the early fall as the weather cools from the heat of summer, as well it is a time to celebrate the bounty of the harvest and wish for good fortune the rest of the year. Many will gather in parks, fields and backyards and read poetry, sing traditional songs and dine on mooncakes and, of course enjoy one of the better-known products of the rice harvest, sake.
Besides enjoying the pleasant weather outdoors, many visit Shinto shrines throughout Japan to pay homage to and to petition the kami (nature spirits) for good fortune, to cleanse and release any negative energies, and to also receive a fortune! (omikuji)
Shinto (the way of the gods) is the indigenous religious tradition of the Japanese people and has been practiced for more than a millennia. Shintoism is a polytheistic tradition that believes that all of the natural world (and human world) is inhabited by the kami and Shinto concerns itself with the relationships we have with these natural energies.
As part of our celebration, we will be having:
-Japanese food and drink
-A Shinto ceremony for the full moon
-Poetry readings honouring the full moon (bring your own about the full moon or just a favourite poem)
-Gift bags for all who attend
-Special performances throughout the evening
-Aurora Moon Jewelry and magickal items available for purchase
-A version of the Tea Ceremony
-Reiki Master Katy Star ⭐️ and Reiki Master Nezuko will be offering mini Reiki sessions for Love Donation
Come dressed in your best cosplay, or just as yourself, bring a small offering for the kami and enjoy this once a year tradition at the Sublime Elms. Dewa mata ne! (see you soon!)

We encourage you to dress in costume or in black, while remembering the tone of the ritual. The breeze turns crisp, the harvest is brought in,
the nights grow long, and the veil thins.
The whispers of the ancestors echo softly in the winds.
Your heart hears the call of the Horned One.
Samhain has come once more.It is the festival of Samhain, the eighth and final spoke of the wheel. We gather here on the Feast of Samhain, the Time of Turning when the Dark Time begins. We are here to offer worship to the Dark Mother, Queen of the Night, Hecate, Freya, Hela, Morrigan, she who has many names. We also offer worship to the Gods, the Dead, and especially to our ancestors who have walked before us.
"This is the night of the Feast of the Dead, the night of the wheel-turning year that brings us to the Thin Veil. The gates between the worlds stand open this night. We honor our Loved Ones whose voices come to us on the whispering wind. The Veil is lifted this night so that all may once more rejoice together in fellowship. All those who wish well, welcome to The Circle.”
SAMHAIN – FEAST OF THE DEAD
Samhain is one of the original Celtic fire festivals and means "Summer's End." When the sun's power wanes, and the strength of the Gods of darkness, winter, and the Underworld grows great. As Beltane marks the beginning of summer, Samhain records its end. Samhain is regarded as the Celtic New Year and also the "Festival of the Dead." It is believed that at this time of the year the souls of the dead can walk among the living.
On the night of Samhain, the door to realms beyond mortal comprehension is opened, the veil between life and death is at its thinnest, and the evolving wheel has stopped for a brief moment. This night and all of the first week of November once blazed with ritual fires, upon which the early Celts symbolically burned all the frustrations and anxieties of the preceding year.
SAMHAIN LORE
Samhain, (pronounced SOW-in, SAH-vin, or SAM-hayne) means "End of Summer", and is the third and final Harvest. The dark winter half of the year commences on this Sabbat.
It is generally celebrated on October 31st, but some traditions prefer November 1st. It is one of the two "spirit-nights" each year, the other being Beltane.
CORRESPONDENCES:
Various other names for this Greater Sabbat are Third Harvest, Samana, Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos), Old Hallowmas (Scottish/Celtic), Vigil of Saman, Shadowfest (Strega), and Samhuinn. Also known as All Hallow's Eve, (that day actually falls on November 7th), and Martinmas (that is celebrated November 11th), Samhain is now generally considered the Witch's New Year.

DECEMBER FULL MOON RITUAL
Saturday, December 6, 2025 - Gather 7:00, Ritual 7:30 - By Michelle OrwickCome celebrate the blessings of the last Full Moon of 2024 while participating in a Ritual of Uncrossing to help release the residue of this challenging year, while honoring the growth it brought. This will be our Witches' version of New Year's Eve, and though we won't be setting off fireworks, there will be sparklers aplenty as part of the celebration!
The Full Moon is the perfect time to accept the fruition of all that we have manifested, and to begin the process of release and letting go. We must clear space in order for new good things to enter our lives, so get ready to grab your figurative (or literal) broomstick and sweep out all that which no longer serves your highest good.
We'll share a guided meditation and ask our Still Small Voice for advice on what intentions we should set for the coming year. It can be helpful if you spend a few days prior to the ritual contemplating what has not been working for you and what you would like to manifests during this turn of the Wheel.
You are encouraged to wear white and silver in honor of the Full Moon, but any garments that make you feel especially connected to your spiritual self, or particularly happy and festive in general, are definitely appropriate!OUR FEAST IS POTLUCK!!!
So, if you partake in the feast….. Please bring something to share or a $$$ donation. Your food item should be able to feed at least (8) eight people.
Bring Hand instruments, drums, flutes, tambourines, maracas, guitars, etc. Please remember to always enter 'Our' Circle with perfect love and an open heart. There's never a fee to attend!
Please remember to enter our Circle with an open heart and an open mind.DECEMBER was the tenth month in the Old Roman calendar. In the old Tibetan calendar December first was the beginning of the new year.
