Topic: Community-based Research and AI
- The team from Concordia's Applied AI Institute will discuss artificial intelligence's impact on housing in Montreal and their efforts to conduct Community-Based Action Research on artificial intelligence in Canada.
Speakers: Fenwick McKelvey, Alex Megelas
- Fenwick is the co-director of Concordia's Applied AI Institute and an Associate professor in Communication Studies.
- Alex is the manager of research innovation and business development at Concordia University's Applied AI Institute, and a PhD candidate in Educational Studies at McGill University. He's an affiliate facilitator of the Centre for Community Organizations (COCo) and teaches at the Saint Paul University School of Conflict Studies.
