About us
Meet and mingle with local Japanese language and culture lovers! This is a social group whose members are interested in the culture of Japan. We meet regularly for language learning and practice, and also just to socialize and have fun by having dinners, parties, good food and drink. We speak both Japanese and English at events.

【夏祭り】Takoyaki, Kakigori, & Chuhai Summer Party
調和橋 (Chōwabashi), 399 Crossbrook Dr., Berea, OH, USLet's get together and enjoy some summer foods like takoyaki, kakigori, and whatever else everyone brings!
If you've never been to a Cleveland Japanese Meetup, this event is a great one to attend! We had several first-timers come to our year-end/beginning events from previous years, and it's a lot of fun!
This event will be a bit more "indoor pot luck" than true natsu mastsuri, so feel free to bring some food and beverages. But don't worry about making too much; I'm sure everyone will be stuffed from summer cookouts, and we'll make lots of takoyaki and have plenty of snacks/drinks from Japan.
The location is 調和橋 (Chōwabashi) in Berea.
## RSVP "Waitlist" System
A Confirmed RSVP is required to attend the event. If you'd like to bring a guest, make sure to indicate that when signing up.
The event will appear to be full but it's not. We are using the "waitlist" as a means to screen first-time attendees. If you're a familiar face, we'll move you to RSVP'd.
While we absolutely love meeting first-time attendees, nearly 50% of first-timers will RSVP without contacting or showing up. So, we may message you after you join the waitlist.
