Tea, Sake, and Otsumami at Chowabashi

Please join us at this social event at 調和橋 (Chōwabashi) in Berea!

【Waitlist Note】Although the event is currently full, we anticipate several cancellations. We'll also see how many more people the space can accommodate and will increase accordingly.

This is a great opportunity to meet people who are interested in the Japanese language and culture.

## Food and Drinks

In addition to tea and sake, we'll have some canned beverages from Japan including レモンサワー and 酎ハイ. We'll also prepare some otsumami like edamame and cucumber salad, but there's always room for more.

Please bring some food/drinks to share - Japanese-themed would be nice, but not necessary. We may run out of nice お猪口 (sake cups), so don't hesitate to bring your own - especially if you'll be trying out sake.

## About the Venue

We'll be meeting at 調和橋 (Chōwabashi), a historic Mid-Century Modern with Japan-inspired architecture that's being transformed into a private, Onsen-style retreat. Although the official opening is planned for late September, this event will help "soft open" the space.

Renovations are currently scheduled to be complete in plenty of time for this event, but in the unlikely event that there are major issues - we may need to reschedule.

Note we will not be using the baths/spa at this event, but we can tour them.

## RSVP & Waitlist

We ask that all attendees RSVP to the event. If you'd like to bring a guest, make sure to indicate that on the RSVP.

If the event is full, please join the waitlist. There's a good chance that someone will cancel. Or if they're a first-timer (i.e. high probability of being a no-show), we will double-check their reservation and cancel if they don't respond back.
