Hmmm.. Arapiles midweek you say?
Why not! If you are like me and keep weird vampire hours or just have some leave you're tempted to use, come spend a few days touching rocks and enjoying some nature.
The plan?
Head up to Araps Wednesday morning and spend the days top roping/trad climbing. Depending on space in my car I may hire bouldering mats also. This is a beginner friendly trip.
Wednesday or Thursday night we will go to the pub. A compulsory part of any trip imo. :)
For this trip you will need all the regular rock climbing necessities:
- Harness, helmet, climbing shoes (available to hire from ROC gear room. Open Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6.30pm-7.30pm.)
- Water, snacks, sunscreen, warm layers
- camping gear! (This is an important one!!) - tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, food, WATER etc. Most camping gear is available to hire from the ROC storeroom also.
Car pool will be organised the week before, please write in the comments if you want to be excluded.
Happy to answer all wonderful and peculiar questions on: 0423 957 254.
depending on interest this may be changed to a local day trip but I'm very much hoping that doesn't happen
See you all there!
