HTML and CSS - Part 3 - Modern Web Design

We've got something special planned for this meet. Instead of our normal session with one of our mentors presenting on the technical how-tos of development, we are going to dive into web design theory in this meet, with two guest speakers.

Our first guest speaker will be Brian Treese, the Chief Web Designer at SoCreate. He'll be giving us some concepts we'll want to keep in mind when designing our sites and apps.

Our second guest speaker will be Whitney Szentesi, a lecturer at Cal Poly and the Social Media Analyst for the County of San Luis Obispo. She'll be talking about the web as a strategic communication tool, and how the web should be used to communicate ideas with the user, which is ultimately the goal of any site.

We're grateful to both these speakers for donating their time and energy to our group for this class. This won't be one to miss!
