Intro to Web Development

This course is a one-day introduction to the basics of web development. It is intended for students with little-to-no coding background, who are interested in the Ticket Into Tech / Fullstack Academy software engineering boot camp.

In one six-hour class, we'll go over the foundational skills of a web developer. We'll set up a professional-quality development environment on our laptops, get a 10,000-foot-view of how web development works and what software engineers do, and get our hands on the three basic tools of programming for the web: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Students will leave class with the tools they need to prepare themselves for success in either the eight-week CodeSLO prep course, or the Fullstack remote prep course.

There is a $75 fee for this class. It is not required for admittance to the eight-week course or to the Fullstack boot camp. That being said, if you're new to code it is HIGHLY recommended you attend both this course and our two-evening Intro to JavaScript course.

Attendance is capped at 30, and the response is expected to be high. Register as soon as possible to reserve your seat!
