Intro to JavaScript

Note: This isn't one class, but a two-class workshop held on Tuesday, June 26th and Wednesday, June 27th. Both classes will be from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

In this workshop we will study the basics of the JavaScript programming language. This class is meant for those with little-to-no background in programming who are planning to attend the Ticket Into Tech / Fullstack Academy coding bootcamp. It compliments our one-day Intro to Web Development course.

We'll learn how to configure our development environments for running JavaScript in the console, without the need for a web browser. We'll learn fundamental concepts such as the use of variables, functions, and arrays. Students will leave class with the tools they need to prepare for success in either our upcoming eight-week prep course or the Fullstack Academy remote prep course.

This class is not required for admittance to our eight-week course or the Fullstack Academy software engineering boot camp. That being said, it is HIGHLY recommended for those new to code, along with our Intro to Web Development course.

There is a $75 fee for this course. Class size is limited to thirty and response is expected to be high. Please register early to reserve your seat!
