About us

Codex SF brings together people in San Francisco who are building software, automations, and creative projects with Codex.

Bring something you're working on: an app, a tool that saves you time, a game, or an experiment you haven't figured out yet. Show how you made it, ask for help where you're stuck, and see how other people approach similar problems.

Our meetups include project demos, informal talks, and time to build together. We get into the details: how a project works, where Codex helped, what needed fixing, and what we'd try next. It's a chance to learn from someone else's process and find people you'd like to work with.

You don't need a finished project or a software engineering background to join. You're welcome to bring questions, share work in progress, or come see what people are making. Check each event for its format and any setup or registration requirements.

Be generous with feedback, respect people's privacy, and only share work you have permission to show.

Codex Build Night: Agents Everywhere — Luma RSVP Required

San Francisco, San Francisco, CA, USA, CA, US

Spend an evening building with Codex alongside other engineers at Ad Astra in San Francisco.

    Register on Luma: luma.com/afl6lugb
Each attendee must register individually and receive an approval email. A Meetup RSVP does not grant admission. Anyone without an approved Luma registration will be turned away at the door. No walk-ins or unregistered guests; pending and waitlisted requests are not confirmed seats.

    What we'll work on
We'll start with a short Codex demo, then split into small teams. Turn an engineering task into a reusable agent skill, or take on a prepared repository: track down a bug, make a patch, and verify the fix.

Then we'll swap projects. Another team will try your work using the instructions you wrote, giving you a chance to see what's clear, what's missing, and what needs another pass. We'll finish with short demos and a discussion of what you'd keep using after the workshop.
