Join us for a fun morning hike with Jen, a Colorado-based geologist, at the Red Rocks and Morrison Slide Trail! Connect with other women in STEM while enjoying the great outdoors and learning the science behind the iconic red rock formation.

About Jen
Jen is an adventurous geologist based in Littleton, Colorado, with a B.A. and M.S. in Geology. She shares hiking adventures and practical outdoor knowledge to help more people feel confident exploring nature, builds community through hikes with local BIPOC and women's groups, and sharing the story of Earth written in the rocks.

CWS brings together women across all STEM disciplines with a deep commitment to uplifting voices from historically marginalized communities. Come out to learn about CWS, connect with other women, and help shape a supportive, multicultural community rooted in connection and empowerment.

FAQ
Who can attend this event?
CWS is primarily intended for women of color (Black, Indigenous, Asian, and Latina women), though allies who support this community are also welcome.

What should I bring?
The trail is exposed so bring anything that will protect you from the sun, including sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, water bottle, and breathable clothing.

Where should I park?
There is a parking lot at the trailhead, however, spots may be limited. However, you can also park along the road near the trailhead.
