About us
What if the spark that brings conversations to life could be ignited in your communities, workplaces, and homes?
At the Colorado Connection Collective, we believe the skills of masterful relating are not rare gifts but natural capacities to be developed.
Together, we realize the relational art of listening, speaking, and attunement—we remember the Grammar of Belonging.
Our mission is to facilitate direct experiences of deep and meaningful connection and offer the tools to bring this way of being into all areas of life.
Through time-honored and emergent practices, we create spaces to explore the subtle contours of interpersonal relationships and cultivate the skills to navigate them with agency and grace.

Art of Relating

Sharing Deeper UnderstandingA four-part workshop series for cultivating deeper presence and connection.
***
If you’ve ever felt like there’s more available in your relationships but you don’t quite know how to access it, this series is for you.
The Art of Relating is a series of four, hands-on trainings in the core skills that create depth, trust, and real connection. You’ll learn how to be more present, listen in a way that actually lands, follow curiosity that leads to aliveness, and uncover what really matters to someone beneath the surface.
Each workshop blends teaching with real-time practice, so you’re not just learning ideas, you’re building capacities you can immediately bring into your life, your work, and your relationships. This is especially valuable for therapists, coaches, and those who want to learn to facilitate powerful relational practices for others.

Workshop 2: Sharing Deeper Understanding
Connection starts with your ability to be with what’s actually happening inside you and between you and others.
In this workshop, you’ll develop the skill of listening in a way that allows people to feel deeply seen and understood. You’ll practice reflecting back what you’re hearing through paraphrasing, validation, tracking emotional cues, and naming key words or themes that seem most alive for someone. The focus is on learning how to communicate understanding so clearly that people can actually feel that you’re with them.Expect a mix of guided exercises and live practice designed to help you listen beneath the surface, slow down your assumptions, and create conversations that feel more connected, meaningful, and real.

Meaningful relationships will inevitably experience challenges. The health of our relationship is reflective of our ability to repair and learn from these ruptures.
In response, Hazel-Grace has developed a powerful REPAIR process for you to learn the skills that turn ruptures into deeper connection. Rather than being bad news, difficult moments can be powerful opportunities. With the right skills, they become doorways to deeper connection.
Generative Conflict - The ability to move through conflicts in such a way that creates MORE trust and connection.
Generative conflict can lead us to feel more intimately connected by understanding more about ourselves and each other. Rather than hoping our relationships will always be easy, we can learn the skills that bring us closer to the ones we love.

What participants are saying:
People come into The Art of REPAIR feeling anxious about conflict, disconnected in their relationships, or unsure how to communicate without causing more harm. They leave with a clear, embodied framework that helps them slow down, regulate their nervous system, create shared reality, and move through hard conversations with confidence and compassion. Again and again, participants describe this work as life-changing, relationship-saving, and the missing piece they’ve been searching for.
“This is by far one of the best classes I have ever taken in my whole life. I’ve studied for decades and earned multiple degrees, and I can say nothing has impacted the way I relate to others as much as this work.” – Amina“What I got out of the course was a really simple, clear framework that made a huge difference… Since taking the course, I’ve noticed I’m able to connect with my family in a deeper, clearer way and my communication with clients has improved too! It’s honestly been a real game changer for me.”
“Before learning this method I was terrified of conflict. I would keep things in and let resentment grow. Now I no longer run from conflict, and I feel equipped to face conversations I used to avoid.”
“I have had two super big conflicts come up in which I was able to put these tools directly into practice… It helped me feel so much more centered, confident and resourced… Having this tool to help ease these conflicts and help my people find greater cohesion… is so powerful it brings me to tears just writing this. This stuff works!”
“Before the course, my go-to response to conflict was to shut down… Now that the course is complete, I feel that I have the knowledge and process to face conflict in ways that I never knew were possible. I feel that anyone who struggles with navigating conflict should take this course. It is truly a game changer.”
“I’ve used these tools with my family, my clients, and even my tribal community. They have helped us move through deep ruptures and find greater cohesion. This work is not only practical, it is powerful and healing for entire communities.” – Sherika Tenaya
Come solo, with a partner, with friends, or your polycule. You will leave with immediately usable skills that strengthen every relationship in your life.
