Restaurant Outing at Zudaka

Hi everyone,
As promised we will be having more restaurant outings and our first one for 2011 will be at the new Latin Vegetarian restaurant Zudaka, located in north Boulder, between Broadway and Violet.

The owners of Zudaka are long time vegetarians from Columbia and they make wholesome and delicious food at reasonable prices. Let's support this veggie establishment and encourage them to enhance their vegan offerings.

We are still figuring out the prices and menu but I wanted to get this out so people could plan accordingly. I hope to pack the house and give the owners a warm welcome from the Vegan community.

Here is what cristinia and her husband have come up with for our menu

Appetizer ( the yuca) It could be served vegan with hummus, salsa and guasa.
The hallaquitas dish ( it is not on the menu yet) but it is two (vegan Sotuh American tamales) with one side of black beans, a side of fresh salsa, a side of guasa and one little arepita or sweet plantains.
For dessert we can have the vegan rice pudding.
Beverage will be iced tea or sugar cane juice

The price will be $18 and includes the tax and tip.
