Gorge Happiness is excited to announce the next Community Meditation & Book Club series.
Our mindfulness circle and happiness bookclub will re-start with a new book on September 19th. We will meet the 1st and 3rd Fridays at the Hood River Adult Center. Circle runs 11 am-noon on September 19th this month and continues through the fall and winter. We will be reading JoySpan by Dr. Kerry Burnight. This book gets great reviews on GoodReads and comes highly recommended. The circle is free. No need to RSVP. Please purchase or get a copy of the book from the library to read along with the group. This community circle is made possible through the support of Gorge Happiness, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting wellbeing in our community.
No need to read anything from the book before our first meeting. We will read and discuss a chapter every 2 weeks.
Each circle includes:
~ Time for connection and reflection
~ Mindfulness Meditation
~ Time for book chapter discussion
Come as you are--even if you haven't read the chapter! We want to sit in community circle with you.
