About us

A meetup that gets together every 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month and is focused on how AI systems are actually built and used in the real world.

This group is for engineers, builders, and anyone curious about moving beyond demos into real AI applications.

The big goal is to give you practical tips to help you use AI in your real life.

Each session will include:

  • A short, practical talk (15–20 min)
  • Open discussion and Q&A
  • Time to meet and connect with others in the space

Topics will include things like:

How LLMs (like ChatGPT) actually work
RAG systems and where they break
Building and deploying AI applications
What’s real vs hype in AI right now

The goal is to create a space in Columbus for people interested in AI engineering to connect, share ideas, and learn from each other.

Beginner-friendly, but with a focus on real-world systems, not just surface-level content.
