Writer/director James Gunn (the mastermind behind the 3 Guardians of the Galaxy movies) brings his considerable talent to the DCU for this Superman origin story! DESCRIPTION: The film explores Clark Kent / Superman's journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his adoptive human family in Smallville, Kansas. It follows our titular superhero as he reconciles his heritage with his human upbringing. Once the embodiment of truth, justice and the human way, he finds himself in a world that now views this as old-fashioned. The film is written/directed by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy Series) and stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman, alongside Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion and Isabela Merced
