CAPA Summer Movie: THE PRINCESS BRIDE at the Ohio Theatre!

Would we miss a chance to see The Princess Bride? Inconceivable! Join us for a CAPA Summer Movies event to see the classic romantic-comedy-adventure and (for my movie watching dollar) an all-time great: THE PRINCESS BRIDE! DESCRIPTION: If you’ve never seen this in the theater, in a while (or heaven forbid, not at all), do yourself a favor and join us for one of the most beloved films of all time! In this film, a maiden hears that her true love is dead and reluctantly agrees to marry a loathsome Prince. After her true love returns, the two begin an epic and hilarious adventure filled with fencing, fighting, giants, monsters, miracles and truly one of the best films of all time! The film is directed by Rob Reiner (When Harry Met Sally, Stand By Me, A Few Good Men, Spinal Tap) and stars Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Mandy Patinkin, Chris Sarandon, Christopher Guest, Wallace Shawn, Andre the Giant and Peter Falk.

THE OHIO THEATRE: The Ohio Theatre is located at 39 E. State Street, between 3rd and High Streets, across the street from the Ohio Statehouse. PRE-SHOW ENTERTAINMENT: Now celebrating his 33rd year as featured organist for the CAPA Summer Movie Series, Clark Wilson will again provide pre-show entertainment at the keyboards and controls of the Ohio Theatre’s treasured “Mighty Morton” theatre organ 30 minutes prior to each screening.

TICKETS: Tickets are on sale now! Individual films and are $6 and may be purchased in advance, or day-of-show at the CBUSArts Ticket Center beginning one hour prior to show time. Senior tickets are $5. Day-of-show tickets may be purchased with cash or card!
