Complementary Advance Screening: THE LONG WALK at the Gateway Film Center!

Join us for a complementary advance screening of the dystopian horror/thriller THE LONG WALK! This intense, chilling, and emotional thriller challenges audiences to confront a haunting question: how far could you go? And because you are part of the group, you can catch this COMPLEMENTARY ADVANCE SCREENING before the film opens later this month! Here are all the details you need to know:

THE LONG WALK: This film comes from master storyteller Stephen King’s first-written novel and director Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games series)! The film follows a group of teenage boys compete in an annual contest known as "The Long Walk." The film stars Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Tut Nyuot, Charlie Plummer, Ben Wang, Judy Greer and Mark Hamill. There will be a post-screening discussion with Hope Madden and George Wolf (filmmakers, movie critics, and podcasters).

UNHOSTED EVENT: I’ll be out of town on this date and won’t be able to attend myself so this this will be an un-hosted event. Just a cool perk for being part of the group and a fun opportunity to see a complementary advance screening of a film before it opens in theaters on 9/12! (And while it's un-hosted, I’m sure you’ll likely see several other fellow CMG’ers at the event!)

HOW IT WORKS: You must obtain register and obtain a COMPLEMENTARY PASS in advance and ARRIVE EARLY on the day of the event.

ARRIVE EARLY: Arrive at the Gateway between 6:00 and 6:30pm. Not everyone will get in but if you arrive by 6:30, you should be safe. It’s in the Gateway’s largest theater so don’t let the long line scare you away. Screening begins at 7pm. Also, the Gateway will validate your parking in the nearby garage for those attending the screening.
