Discount Tuesday: TRON: ARES vs ANEMONE at Lennox Phoenix! **NEW LOCATION**

Join us as we get together for a Discount Tuesday / Choose Your Movie event to see your choice of TWO great new films! Option 1 is TRON: ARES, which follows a highly sophisticated program sent on a dangerous mission from the digital world to the real world! We’ll see this one on the largest screen possible! Option 2 is ANEMONE, which sees the return of Daniel Day-Lewis to the big screen in a psychological-drama about the complex relationship between brothers, fathers and sons. TRON: ARES: The film follows a highly sophisticated program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind's first encounter with A.I. beings. It is the third film in the series and the first since Tron: Legacy in 2010. The film is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson and Jeff Bridges (who returns to reprise his role of Kevin Flynn from the previous films). ANEMONE: The film is described as a psychological drama and an exploration of the complex and profound ties that exist between brothers, fathers, and sons. It is directed by Ronan Day-Lewis from a screenplay he co-wrote with his father, Daniel Day-Lewis. This will be Daniel Day-Lewis’ return to acting since Phantom Thread in 2017. He stars alongside Sean Bean, Samuel Bottomley, Safia Oakley-Green and Samantha Morton. The film will screen at the NY Film Festival before hitting theaters! PLAN – ANEMONE. For ANEMONE, I was able to catch a preview showing and while it wasn’t the worst movie I’ve seen this year, it’s in the bottom half for sure. And I’m not seeing any Oscar potential. But, everyone’s taste is different and sometimes you just want to see it anyway! So, for those interested in seeing, ANEMONE, there is a 6pm showing.
