What we’re about
The goal of this group is to raise awareness about parecon, or participatory economics -- an alternative economic model to both capitalism and all forms of socialism.
Capitalism and all forms of socialism are authoritarian. They generate economic classes with opposed interests. They destroy solidarity, are inefficient, and lead to unearned disparities in wealth and income.
My claim is that parecon is both a necessary and sufficient condition for the liberation of the working class, while all other economic forms continue working-class oppression.
This group will not overthrow capitalism. But I would like to meet people who want to believe that something better is possible and would like to see what that might be.
