About us
Do you want to get out of the house, try new things, and have fun meeting other active friends your age? Come join us around Columbus for casual, unique and exciting events at the coolest venues in town.
Here's what the group offers:
- Activity - Our goal is to host at least 8 events per month, adding more as we discover more interests. Most of our events allow casual conversation in a fun environment. Even activities with music, games, or sports have social time built in.
- Social Outlet - No more excuses to be home and bored.
- Quality People - Members have to be approved. Singles and couples may join but you must have a membership with a current picture of yourself on your profile. Also, we charge a small yearly admin fee to help keep up with meetup fees and costs managing so many events. (Note: all new members get a 30 day free trial before fees are required)
- Friendship - Finding friends with common interests is encouraged. You must be in your 40s, 50s, or 60s to be a member of this Meetup.
As your organizer, I promise good communication and organized activities. In return, I ask that members keep their RSVPs current.

Happening Hour at Natalie's!
945 King Ave, Columbus, OH, USCome join us at Natalies in Grandview for a free Happy Hour show. The doors open at 5:00 pm. Tonight presents a genre-bending sonic experience exploring the edges of Jazz, Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, Alt, and World music. We The Sound radio endeavors to transplant listeners to the center of sounds both new yet familiar. This club has a great vibe with drink and eats specials.
The show runs from 5:15 pm - 6:30 pm. There is no admission charge, but tips for the band are strongly encouraged.

Worthington Fall Shop-about (and lunch)!
Le Chatelaine French Bakery & Bistro, Worthington, 627 High Street, Worthington, OH, US2nd Annual Worthington Fall Shopping Event - Local Vendors, Homemade goods, lunch spots.
Come hang out to shop + stroll through Old Worthington- an outdoor event along the green spaces and sidewalks downtown to kickoff the fall shopping season. Shops will be open, store fronts will be decorated and people will be out on the town ready to start spreading warm weather cheer!!
START: (11am or earlier) at Le Chatelaine French Bakery & Bistro in the heart of it all. Grab a coffee and a croissant to snack on as we walk.
NEXT: about 11:15am, we'll take a stroll and shop merch and homemade food tents.
LUNCH: I'd love to introduce you to a popular cafe, Joyas, along the stroll! We can also eat at Worthington Inn, Dewey's Pizza, or even back to Le Chatelaine (It will be too busy for us all to sit together anywhere so I'd recommend breaking into small groups)
