See all- Kayak, Canoe, Paddle Board on Carnegie LakePrinceton Canoe and Kayak Rental, Princeton, NJ
So glad that last week’s paddle at Griggstown turned out to be so delightfully successful! So, let’s keep the ball rolling – or splashing – with a paddle this coming weekend at Carnegie Lake which is home to both the Princeton University and U.S. Olympic rowing teams. We’ll do a nice easy 2-hour circuit - about 3-4 miles.
Meet up time is 10:30 AM at Princeton Canoe and Kayak Rental. Anyone who needs to, can rent a kayak or canoe here (paddle boards are not available), and anyone using an INFLATABLE kayak or paddle board can do his/her inflating. So, everyone should be in the water and ready to go by 11:00 AM. Thanks to anyone and everyone who can provide assistance to others in carpooling or getting rented gear to the site of this event.
Update 07/30/25:
Due to a complaint about running overtime on the last paddling event, the event host will “run a tight ship” this Saturday – that is, the paddling will start promptly at 11:00 AM and end exactly 2 hours later at 1:00 PM so that no one who is renting their gear will have to pay an overtime fee.The max number of participants for this event 24. So, being that it is cross posted with another Meetup group, the RSVP limit for each group is 12. So, if you RSVP as “going” and change your plans, please be considerate of the people on the “waitlist” and update your RSVP (to "not going") ASAP so that the next person in line can get the spot you vacated and go… thanks.
As always, attendance at this and all other Meetup events, is at the risk of the attendee who waives all rights to hold any and all event hosts, organizers and leaders liable for any injury, loss or damage sustained in the event of any accident or mishap.
