The Case of Alan Turing

We seem ideologically inept to deal with radical differences in principles that speciate human nature into characterological or natural types—not protean or microcosmic as the flattering modern myth of arbitrary will supposes, but diverse, finite, and morally-psychologically incommunicant with those otherwise differentiated. Our a-priorism precludes the framing of issues of human nature in our age of experimentalism, individualism, licentiousness, and atrocity: what are humans fundamentally capable of? What are our constitutional liabilities, limits, and essential powers, our distinctively human (or subhuman) gestalten? Undeterred by our own universalist Rights of Man we have practiced more brutal genocide, from the Trail of Tears to Bergen-Belsen, than the ancients ever conceived in their cultural varietalism; yet our Apollonian falsifications of self and history condemn their culture as irrational and racist, not our own.
