About us

connectNOW

Meet. Mingle. Connect. Go with the flow.

connectNOW is a community for Singaporeans and PRs aged 21 and above who believe life is better when you put yourself out there and connect with people.
We’re bringing together fun, open-minded individuals who are ready to meet, mingle, network, make friends, try new things and simply see where a connection takes them.

Whether you’re looking to:
🍻 Grab a drink and have a good time
🎤 Sing a few songs and let loose
🤝 Meet new people and expand your social circle
💼 Network, exchange ideas or discover career opportunities
🎨 Find people who share your hobbies and interests and do it together
🍷 Join casual food, drink or tasting sessions
❤️ Meet someone new or potentially find a date
🌃 Make spontaneous plans and try something different
🗣️ Have interesting conversations about just about anything
👋 Or simply find a group of people to hang out with

connectNOW is about being open to possibilities.
There’s no need to know anyone beforehand. No need to have a specific agenda. Just come with an open mind, a willingness to connect, and perhaps a little leap of faith.

We’ll organise regular casual networking and social sessions — from drinks and dinners to activities, hobby meetups, tastings, spontaneous outings and whatever else the community comes up with.
You never know who you might meet, what conversation you might have, or where one simple “Hey, want to join us?”might lead. You would never feel out of place. And every session is different.

The idea is simple:
Show up.
Meet people.
Try something new.

Chit Chat. Share your views, one hour. Get Paid

CONNECT NOW is a community for Singaporeans and PRs aged 21+ who are open to meeting people, sharing experiences and discovering new connections.

From careers and networking to hobbies, food, activities, friendships and simply having a good conversation, CONNECT NOW is about bringing people together around the things that matter to them.

For this session, we're getting together for a 1-hour paid focus group and casual chit-chat about jobs and the Singapore employment market.

What’s it really like looking for work and building a career in Singapore today?

CONNECT NOW is organising a 1-hour paid focus group for Singaporeans and PRs aged 21 and above to have an open, informal conversation about jobs, employment and the Singapore job market.

This isn’t a presentation or a job interview. It’s simply a chit-chat session where we want to hear real experiences, opinions and perspectives.

We’ll discuss topics such as:

💼 Finding a job in Singapore
📈 Current job opportunities and the employment market
🔍 Job searching and recruitment experiences
💰 Salary expectations and career progression
🤝 Networking and how people find opportunities
🧑‍💻 Skills, qualifications and what employers are looking for
🔄 Career changes, retraining and upskilling
🌏 Experiences of Singaporeans and PRs in the local job market
💡 What could make finding and securing a job easier

There are no right or wrong answers. We’re interested in hearing different experiences and perspectives.
