Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) 54th Annual Conference: Leadership & Advocacy

Greetings,
Let’s meet again for another Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Annual Legislative Conference—the nation’s most prominent advocacy event for African Americans. This year’s conference—themed “Made for this Moment: Power, Policy, & Progress,” will be held again at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in the conference's host city Washington, DC Wednesday September, 24th, 2025 to Sunday September, 28th, 2025. This annual event—which typically brings together approximately 18,000+ minority change makers from across the nation and globe, focuses on addressing issues of inequality and disparities that impact the most marginalized individuals within the Black community. The conference will feature in depth panel discussions (to include their signature National Town Hall), critical conversations, workshops (to include several associated free evening mixers, see below) facilitated by change agents, activists, researchers, strategists, unifiers, and faith based innovators promoting leadership development in social justice advocacy, criminal justice reform, education (e.g., securing funding for HBCUs, disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline), health equity, reduction in unemployment (through skills building and workforce development), affordable housing, access to capital, economic empowerment, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, student loan debt relief, and advancements in technology (STEM).
