What we’re about
If you have found ConsciousCafe you are likely to enjoy thoughtful conversations about how you want to live your life, what your values are and what you can do to help create a better world for everyone. You will be interested in exploring other people’s points of view and in connecting with others at a heartfelt level.
ConsciousCafe is a not-for-profit nationwide organisation. We bring people together to create deep and profound connections through conversation and learning. Our aim is to raise consciousness and deep connection, one conversation at a time.
Come and meet like-minded people and leave our events feeling full of energy and curious about the wonder and meaning of life.
For more information check out our ConsciousCafe website which lists our other UK events (as well as our group in Geneva). You can sign up for our newsletter at www.consciouscafe.org
Richmond is a beautiful suburb of London alongside the River Thames. We invite you to ‘walk and talk’ along the River and then up to Richmond Park where we will visit King Henry’s Mound with its uninterrupted view of St. Pauls Cathedral. We will then stop at Pembroke Lodge, a mansion with spectacular grounds, for a cup of tea. We will return through the Park and may be lucky enough to spot deer on the way!
We will walk for about an hour, stop for tea, and return to Richmond Station by 5pm. The terrain is uneven and hilly in parts. You will need strong trainers or walking shoes and a bottle of water.
In the event of heavy rainfall anyone who wants to can meet at Richmond Station at 2pm and we will enjoy a cuppa and a discussion in one of Richmond’s many cafes.
We are asking you for a small non-refundable deposit for this event to cover our ConsciousCafe admin costs. In the event we are unable to meet because of bad weather, we can still meet up in a café. If for any reason we have to cancel the event we will offer you another date. Please book here.
48 hours before the event, we will email everyone who has registered to remind you of the details. When you receive our email please send us your telephone number in case we need to contact you beforehand.
Our ConsciousCafe walks bring together lovely conscious people and you have the chance to meet new and old friends and enjoy the beauty of the heath in a relaxing way.
The walk will be lead by Luiza and Stephen Kirk who moved to Richmond 3 years ago and love showing its beauty to visitors. Luiza teaches Qi Gong and Stephen is a semi-retired entrepreneur. They are both long-term meditators.
