About us

Some of my best conversations and connections have been made with craft beer in my hand. If this statement resonants with you, then this meetup is for you. We rotate visiting some of the best breweries and craft beer bars that Denver, Boulder, and surrounding areas have to offer. Come to network, make a friend, meet new connections, socialize, collaborate, and more...all while drinking great craft beer. Most events are formatted like a happy hour: late afternoon/early evening on a weeknight (Tues-Thur) and you pay for what you drink.

  • Mini Beer Stroll in Lafayette, CO

Mini Beer Stroll in Lafayette, CO

    Location not specified yet

We have an annual beer stroll and it's usually in Denver. My fellow Boulder County members have pleaded for an option that doesn't involve going into the city. So let's have a mini beer stroll in Lafayette on Thursday, August 27. Yes, a beer stroll - not a beer crawl - because we always drink responsibly and plan to stay upright, right?!?

Please do not feel like you need to join us for all 3 stops. In fact, it will help with crowd management at these venues if our group numbers are more fluid. So come for the first part and leave early, come later and stay until the end, come to just one stop, come to one stop and stay there with other folks if you really enjoy that spot, skip a stop so you can have more time at your favorite spot. Or come for the whole thing!

You are all adults but here are some common sense suggestions:

    • Bring a water vessel that you can refill throughout the stroll. And a good best practice is to drink at least one glass of water for every glass of beer you have.
    • Wear comfy shoes!
    • Come well-fed or, put differently, don't start drinking on an empty stomach. That being said, several of our stops do serve food.
    • Be mindful of your ABV percentages and your serving sizes. My recommendation for lasting longer is smaller pours (10oz or less) and less-boozy beers (6% ABV or lower).
    • Take public transportation or an Uber/Lyft. It's the safe thing to do, plus you won't have to worry about parking or backtracking to your car at the end.

Milieu Fermentation, 2101 N Ursula St, Denver, CO, US

Join us at Milieu Fermentation in Aurora, CO on Tuesday, September 15th. I know some of you may balk at the idea of traveling to Aurora on a Tuesday weeknight. But have I led you astray before? You'll just have to trust me that this is an exceptional brewery worth the trip. Plus, according to their website, Tuesday's special is $6 full pours!

NOTE: We are starting 30 minutes later than our regular time.

Gathering @ Cannonball Creek Brewing in Golden, CO

Cannonball Creek Brewing Company, 393 N Washington Ave, Golden, CO, US

Join us at Cannonball Creek Brewing Co. in Golden, CO on Wednesday, September 30th. This brewery shares a parking lot with a 7-Eleven. A very clever marketing person created t-shirts for Cannonball Creek that say "the best beer you'll have in a 7-Eleven parking lot". That should give you a glimpse into the vibe of this brewery that doesn't take itself too seriously.
