Harvest Moon over Heublein Tower in Avon, CT

Come join us for a great alignment of the moon behind the Heublein Tower in Avon, CT!

We will be shooting from 1.1 miles away from the 165’ tower. The moon will appear to be 55’ in diameter. Sunset is at 7:16 pm and the moon will be behind the tower at 7:45. You can capture this with a 300mm lens or better. The location for this shoot is at least a mile from other locations we shot at before. We will be getting an interesting new angle on the tower.

I no longer use Meetup payments. They now charge an additional fee to attendees and they take 25% of the gate.
