What we’re about
We are people who care about making Dallas a more walkable, bike-friendly, transit-oriented, affordable, and vibrant place to live. As a Strong Towns Local Conversation (STLC), we are part of the Strong Towns movement to replace America’s postwar pattern of development, the "Suburban Experiment," with a pattern of development that is financially strong and resilient. We advocate for neighborhoods of all sizes in Dallas to be safe, livable and inviting.

This is a one-hour video call for anyone who chose a volunteer option on the Dallas Urbanists STLC membership form. On this call, we'll go over the the various volunteer roles and responsibilities, learn how to login and use the task management system, and get volunteers started on their first assignments.
Signed up to volunteer but can't make it to this orientation? One of the topics is how to run these orientation calls, so someone who was trained on the call will reach out to you directly for 1-on-1 orientation!
