Our group is wholly committed to connecting data-driven women in San Francisco! DDW was developed as a home for inspiring Bay Area women who impact every aspect of the data that makes our world run and our industry thrive. We know talking about data can be intimidating, but the members of our group make data, approachable and our events fun.

Event Host:

At Brightloom (formerly eatsa), we are working to revolutionize restaurants through innovative technology and design. We are disrupting an industry worth $900 billion globally with partnerships in North America, Asia, and soon other continents.

Led by our CEO, industry veteran and former Starbucks and J.Crew executive Adam Brotman, our unique, world-class team combines software and hardware engineers, designers, and industry experts to push the boundaries on re-engineering every aspect of the restaurant experience. Brightloom, believes any restaurant brand should be able to engage customers digitally using a seamless combination of mobile, omni-channel ordering and loyalty offerings. Through our platform, any restaurant brand can create their own version of a world-class digital flywheel ecosystem

Featured Speakers:
Amy Cline - Director, Information Security, Privacy and Compliance: Amy is the head of InfoSec, Privacy and Compliance at Brightloom where she is building and leading programs to protect the data and privacy of Brightloom employees, products & services, as well as Brightloom Customers and their guests. She started with Brightloom in August and has spent several years of her career with Deloitte in both Client Service and Internal roles, most recently she built and led their internal Technology Risk Management and Cloud Security Governance programs. Amy has extensive Security Risk and Compliance experience building and leading security compliance programs for large technology organizations such as EMC Corporation and Microsoft Azure.

Cecilia Romero - Global Supply Chain Manager: Cecilia specializes in supply chain and logistics. She started at Brightloom (then eatsa) in 2016 in internal operations. Prior to Cecilia finding her passion for supply chain she worked as an Executive Assistant to the COO at The Climate Corporation and as an Executive Assistant to the CFO and VP Of Global Supply Chain at Tesla Motors during the ramp of Tesla's Model S. In her free time, Cecilia enjoys wine country, exploring San Francisco restaurants, and volunteers with children in foster care through San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

Leigh Anne Dunkin - VP of Products: Leigh Anne is the VP of Products at Brightloom, where she leads the Digital Ordering, Payments, Loyalty, and Account Suite. She has 20 years of technology experience leading product teams from vision to launch. Prior to Brightloom, she led the Product and Design teams at Amazon for Amazon Care, a virtual medical clinic, a multi-platform product that spans both the digital & physical design ecosystems. Leigh Anne led mobile product management at Starbucks for the initial launch of Mobile Order & Pay. She drove the vision, execution, and launch of the Starbucks Alexa skill & Starbucks NLP platform that powered the first voice/text chatbot as Director of Emerging Technology. She began her career as a forensic engineer investigating computer crimes committed on NASA's and Microsoft's networks.

Sara Vredevoogd - Senior Product Manager: At Brightloom Sara is focused on backend services for brands building multi-channel guest experiences. Originally from the Midwest, Sara led voter targeting for the Obama Campaign in Florida during the 2012 cycle. Following the election, she moved to San Francisco where she’s worked at the intersection of analytics and product. Outside of her job, Sara enjoys training her large & neurotic dog, backpacking with friends, and keeping up with an unreasonable number of houseplants.
