Data on Tap is a monthly meetup for a entertaining, inspirational, and educational discussion of all things Data related. The event begins with Data Science in the News, followed by a talk by a new speaker every month on a specific application in Data Science/AI. You don't need to be a data scientist to join this group, but we also welcome seasoned veterans in data science field, as the talks will cover both introductory ideas and technical details related to specific applications. Our goal for this meetup group is to create a fun and casual environment for every event where we can learn about a new application in Data Science/AI, feel comfortable asking questions, discussing concepts and specific applications, and (most importantly) have fun! All meet up events will be held in downtown Austin (location may change each month) or at the new Walmart Technology office on 409 Colorado Street.
