See all- Visualizing Drought by ZeixInteractive Things, Zürich
Drought is a persistent and recurring natural hazard that strains ecological systems, leading to socioeconomic impacts across agriculture, drinking water, forestry, hydropower, shipping, tourism, and more. Decision-makers need to quickly assess the situation in their regions, but currently face challenges with scattered data across multiple specialized platforms. This makes gathering a comprehensive overview time-consuming and prone to misinterpretation.
During this case study presentation, Annina Brügger, Senior User Experience Architect at Zeix, will demonstrate how they applied user-centered design principles to create a unified platform that addresses these challenges. She will share insights into how they incorporated decision-makers' analytical requirements and transformed complex environmental data into accessible information for effective drought monitoring and assessment.
