Last Minute SUNDAY Bill Yeck Evening Summertime Hike! SMITH HOUSE ENTRANCE

Details
This is gonna be another one of those toasty evening hikes, but being in the woods will help with feeling it a little bit less. The heat index is going to be about 93 when this hike starts, so PLEASE BRING WATER. But the chance of rain is looking minimal, unlike Monday. I'm starting to take it personally that it keeps threatening to rain on Monday evenings. Anyway, there may be a creek crossing or two using mostly large rocks. I do have an alternate route in mind if the water level is high. You may also want trekking poles. The pace for this hike will be about 2.8 mph on somewhat hilly terrain in some places. This hike will be about 3 - 3.5 miles in length. You may want to bring a change of shoes for your drive home.
