CHRISTMAS IN JULY: CHARLESTON FALLS

Details
Christmas in July is an unofficial holiday celebrated by those jolly people in your life who just can't wait for December to bust out the candy canes and Santa suits. It’s been a very hot summer but the snow-covered trails and frosted trees are right around the corner. Let’s hike at a pace of 2.5 approximately 4 miles imaging that crisp cool air, snow-covered trees and frozen waterfall. Holiday gear is encouraged; ugly t-shirts, Christmas light necklaces, jingle bells or just some red or green. We're gonna have the hap-hap-happiest Christmas hike since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny Kaye.
