Enjoy the last rays of the summer sun before night begins to take over! We will take a naturalist-led walk along the Spotted Turtle Trail Boardwalk and a portion of the Red Loop. Expect to see wildflowers, insects, birds, reptiles, amphibians and possibly resident mammals.
Bring water, your cameras, binoculars and curiosity. Meet in the new parking lot at 2050 New Germany Trebein Rd.
2.5 – 3 Miles, Slow – Moderate pace
In the event of storms or heavy rain, the hike will be rescheduled to 9/29, at the same time and location.
About the Hike Leader: Mark Byrne graduated the Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist (OCVN) Program with the Cincinnati Nature Center. He has volunteered with CNC for four years supporting programming, events, and native plant propagation. He also volunteers with Warren County Parks supporting summer programming.
