Urban Hike: "The Neighborhoods" ADULT FIELD TRIP 🤔 Cox Arboretum

Let's get together and explore the unique neighborhoods and areas that Dayton and vicinity have to see!

For this Urban I need some practice! And I need to practice on you guys, the Dayton Hikers! 🤞

Well I'm a volunteer for 5 Rivers Metro Parks and I just had a 3 day training(and background check that I passed! lol) to help with kids field trips.

So please come out to the amazing Cox Arboretum and I'll show you a few things we did. It's really fun and interesting.

Looking for pollinators
Looking for fossils
Looking at trees
Looking for interesting things

Going slow and actually listening, looking and smelling.

You seriously can't have a bad day at Cox Arboretum... you know that!

Bring a lunch or snack and let's sit at the picnic tables and relax after the field trip... just like the kids do!

Looks like it's going to be sunny... wear a hat, sunscreen, bug spray and comfy shoes as we will be on the trails and pavement.
