# DDD Belgium Meetup – Unconference Edition
Join us for a special evening edition of the DDD Belgium Meetup during the week of the DDD Europe conference in Antwerp!
This time, we’re hosting an Unconference : a highly interactive, participant-driven format where you shape the agenda. Instead of predefined talks and slides, attendees propose topics at the start of the evening, and together we create discussion sessions around the ideas people care about most.
Whether you want to:
discuss Domain-Driven Design challenges,
explore architecture and socio-technical systems,
exchange experiences about event sourcing, CQRS, AI, or team collaboration,
or simply meet fellow software professionals,
…this evening is for you.
## What is an Unconference?
An unconference is a collaborative event format built around conversations instead of presentations.
Here’s how it works:
Participants suggest topics they’d like to discuss.
We create a session board together.
Small groups form organically around the topics.
Everyone is encouraged to contribute, ask questions, and share experiences.
No need to prepare a talk. If you have a question, an idea, a challenge, or an experience to share, you already have something valuable to bring.
## During DDD Europe — but Open to Everyone
Although this meetup takes place during the week of DDD Europe, you do not need a DDD Europe ticket to attend .
