Santa Fe Nights: A Classy Cultural Celebration in the Heart of Denver, CO – September 20, 2024 – Step into an evening where culture,
fashion, and community shine at Santa Fe Nights, a one-of-a-kind celebration hosted by the Denver Art Society in the Art District on Santa Fe. From 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., guests will be immersed in the living legacy of Chicano heritage. Its past, present, and future.
This free event features a cultural fashion show that journeys through time, spotlighting iconic Chicano styles from the 1940s Zoot Suit era to today’s bold, contemporary looks. More than clothing, the show highlights fashion as a powerful statement of resistance, identity, and pride.
Highlights of the evening include:
● Live music by Elan Schwartz Band4, Jay Suavecito Salas, and Reyna
Muerta.
● Photography and art exhibitions by acclaimed local artists, including
Almeida Fine Arts Portrait Photography, Fabian Lara, Jesús Flores, Daniel
Romero, Lolly Art LLC, and RockArt Productions.
● Classic car showcase presented by Compas Colorado.
● Fashion show curated by Imagen Studios’ Brandy Parrish and Javier
Almeida, featuring designers Liz Baros, Sierra McCellan, Ben Suarez,
Missy Champlain, and Bianca Lopez. Brought to life by local models.
● Special guest speakers and tributes honoring Pachuco culture and the
Chicano movement.
● Special appearances by Rockabilly Vixens, Holly Collins-Tomazin, Tony
Ortiz, and more.
