Denver Art Society Cooperative: classes, events, and meetups

A group class where we will learn the very basics of playing an instrument.

This class is designed for the very beginner looking for exposure to studying and playing a musical instrument for the first time.

Participants can choose between guitar, piano, ukulele or drums, focusing on one instrument for the duration of the class or switching between multiple instruments.

This is a no pressure, for fun class, where we will go at each individuals pace.

All levels beginner to advanced are welcome and will benefit from this class, no experience needed, no note reading necessary, instruments are provided.

Class will begin with a short music theory lesson followed by a group lesson on the piano.

Attendees will learn and exercise: Chord and Scale theory, improvisation, composition, ensemble playing.

This is an easy class, you will not even have to try, and still,
I guarantee you will learn more about music in one lesson than you have in any other music course of any length.

Join artist Lisa Pordon for a fun journey into art journaling!

This workshop is for all levels of art experience.

All supplies will be provided - each participant will also have their own journal to take home after the class.

We will delve into and explore different types of paint, ink, markers, and you will learn techniques that work best for different media.

If you have taken one of Lisa's classes before, you know that we are all about experimenting and curiosity - this is no different!
