Introduction to Beauty Photography
Learn beauty photography in a small group setting, where you can focus on taking some fantastic beauty images with amazing models and hair/makeup styling provided, with access to over $200,000 of professional photography equipment! This workshop is limited to just 15 photographers, so we can maintain a great ratio of photographers to models and sets.
Workshop overview
We will go over posing techniques, modifying natural light, mixing ambient and strobe lighting, creating beauty light in-studio, and how to create a “perfect” beauty shot. Expand your portfolio and get new beauty images at Denver’s premiere rental photo studio: photospace.
10a-12p: Instruction on set
12p-5p: Photo shoot, in studio at photospace! With fantastic models, professional hair/makeup, assistants on set to help with lighting modifiers, and your award-winning and widely published instructor Dan Jahn working with you to create fantastic new images for your portfolios! Along with access to over $200,000 worth of professional lighting gear from Bron, Profoto, Chimera, Westcott, Sunbounce, ScrimJim, Fiilex, and Nanlux, you will have the opportunity to create some of the finest images of your career. During the shoot time, you will also have the opportunity to shoot a few images with one of our Hasselblad or PhaseOne medium format systems!
