What we’re about
Splurge is primarily a dining out meetup group, focusing on "upper end" restaurants in the Denver area. "Splurge" will offer periodic opportunities to those who want to eat at fancy restaurants to do so, but don't usually get the chance. On average, I expect we'll eat out at nicer restaurants about once every other month and/or take advantage of other "go out on the town" activities as they come up. Definitely, I will schedule at least two events during Denver Restaurant Week if my personal schedule will allow it.
This group is primarily intended for singles who are 40 years old and above, but anyone, romantically attached or unattached of any age is welcome to attend an activity that sounds like fun!

Christmas Eve Splurge at Rioja
Rioja, 1431 Larimer Street, Denver, CO, US(PLEASE NOTE! Reservations to this event open Tuesday, December 16, at 6 pm. This will give you time to consider what other commitments or activities you have planned or made for Christmas Eve before signing up for this dinner.)
Let's make jolly at Rioja on Christmas Eve! Our reservations are early enough so that if you have other things to do that evening, you can enjoy a celebratory meal at a very special restaurant and still attend other events.
Chef Jennifer Jasinski of Rioja, with her partner, has been focusing on this restaurant alone since giving up direct management or ownership of others in 2024. If you are wondering how they have made dining at Rioja an even more memorable experience, Christmas Eve is a perfect time to check it out.

Valet parking is available at 15th and Larimer. Street and garage parking options are also available nearby. Be sure to check all relevant signs and be aware there is usually a parking fee no matter where you park.
