About us
Splurge is primarily a dining out meetup group, focusing on "upper end" restaurants in the Denver area. "Splurge" will offer periodic opportunities to those who want to eat at fancy restaurants to do so, but don't usually get the chance. On average, I expect we'll eat out at nicer restaurants about once every other month and/or take advantage of other "go out on the town" activities as they come up. Definitely, I will schedule at least two events during Denver Restaurant Week if my personal schedule will allow it.
This group is primarily intended for singles who are 40 years old and above, but anyone, romantically attached or unattached of any age is welcome to attend an activity that sounds like fun!

Splurge at Shanahan's Steakhouse on "Prime Rib Sunday!

Shanahan's offers a Sunday night special, not only for prime rib, but also offers other options, with three courses, for $89/person (same price as it was in 2023!). This includes 1) a choice of soup or salad, 2) a choice of entrée (prime rib, of course, but also NY Strip, petite filet, red trout, halibut and other selections) and 3) a choice of dessert. Check the complete menu here (look for "Prime Rib Sunday"). Two sides are also included, served family style. Bring your appetite!
Valet parking is available or you can self-park in a nearby parking garage.
***As always, make a firm commitment to attend this event if you sign up as "going!" Do NOT be a no-show and try to avoid a less-than-12-hour cancelation, if at all possible, particularly if there are any members on the waitlist. If you must cancel at the last minute, please contact me directly ASAP).
