Ultimate is a fast-paced team sport of passing a frisbee between your teammates. Your team scores when you or your teammate catches a pass in the opponent's endzone. The defending team will try to stop you by catching or deflecting passes before your team catches them. It's a little like football, a little like soccer, a little like basketball, but still its own awesome thing. Contact between players is not allowed, so it's as safe as it is fun!

• Cleats with metal studs, such as baseball or softball cleats, are not permitted.

This Frisbee: Discraft Ultrastar

• You can buy this disc from a lot of online or local retailers.
• You can find them with all kinds of fun designs on them.
• Any design is ok as long as the plastic is white!
• Don't buy any other brand or any other style of disc from this brand - the Ultimate community settled on this disc and how it flies. (Yes, different discs fly a little differently!) You'll be at a disadvantage if you practice with a different disc, then come to a game where an Ultrastar is used.

As with all sports, there is a risk of injury while playing Ultimate Frisbee. No organizer is responsible for injuries sustained while attending a pickup game. Reckless play has a high risk of causing injuries to oneself or to another player; therefore, players exhibiting reckless play will be asked to stop, then not to return if reckless play continues.
